New necklace.

The necklace I ordered arrived, I've wanted this for a while but I wasn't willing to pay full price for it. It's not even massively expensive, I'm just really poor. Anyway I found it for £15ish which I was quite pleased with.

Alchemy Gothic Ankh of the Dead.

The main reason I wanted to get this is that it is although not an exact replica, similar to the ones in the film The Hunger, which no surprise is one of my favourite films. Of course it is, the opening sequence is Bauhaus performing Bela Lugosi's Dead with David Bowie as a vampire.
Anyway I basically would like to dress up super 80s and pretend I'm in The Hunger.

OOTD.

Basically this is the outfit and make-up I wore today. I didn't do anything properly, I literally just went to get some food from the supermarket.
I found the furry coat in my sisters wardrobe after lusting over some in a vintage shop. All the lining is torn out though. I want another one if I can find one.
Also I am wearing leather look trousers which I found in the sales.
Bauhaus t-shirt.
Lots of necklaces.
And glittery chealsea boots.

My make-up is base on a picture of Daniel Ash I saw. It didn't really work though.
Also I washed my hair so it looks a bit rubbish.

MUOTD (yesterday)

Basically this is the make-up I wore yesterday, I don't really know what else there is to say. My usual 80s goth inspired stuff.

David Bowie's Birthday.

I was planning on basing my make-up on his thin white duke persona, although it didn't work and i'm a bit disappointed. I had also planned on doing other things but I was too worn out from college.
Any way, this mornings new of his new album and single were just amazing. I didn't think it would happen and it has! I have just been so filled with emotions. I really liked his new single, and I can't wait to hear his album. Along with around the same time going to the exhibition on him at the V&A, I just can't wait until spring.

OOTD and MUOTD

This is the outfit I wore today. I'm not used to wearing shorts, it feels really weird. I think I'll get some more pairs though as I like them. These are velvet and have a kind of Henry the 8th feel. Then I've got some weird sheer jacket thing that I think might be a dressing gown, I don't really know as I got it from a  charity shop. Also, not very visible I have my Dad's La Rocka shirt from he 80s and a cardigan. Also a lace top, with a vest and a fishnet tights top. then my Leather jacket and my winklepickers.

Then my make-up.

Record Shopping Haul.

Yesterday I went to some charity shops just to see if I could find anything nice. Any way I did! I found lots of records.
I got a Gary Numan single with no sleeve in one shop. In a record shop I goth The Black Album by the Damned and I got New Christian Music 12" by Alien Sex Fiend.

Then the best haul of them all is when I on a whim because I happened to be on the right side of the road. If i had been on the other side I wouldn't have bothered. I found 2 Virgin Prunes singles and Are friends electric by Tubeway Army! Seriously some one should have filmed my reaction to the Virgin Prunes records. I a charity shop too! It's probably on CCTV some where. You never know a video of a goth freaking out over records in a charity shop may become the next internet sensation!

My make-up of the day, or these shall now be known as MUOTD.

My make-up I wore today. I went to see a production of Peter Pan which was very good.
I'm currently partially re-growing my eyebrows, purely so I can fill them in thicker. Although I'm leaving the ends shaved so I can do that however I may wish.

Close up of my eye make-up. I used a dark grey shimmer eye shadow by Rimmel and blackout by Urban Decay on my brows. The liquid eyeliner is no 7. My Mascara is the ball shaped brush one my L'Oreal.
Also my foundation is L'Oreal True match in Rose ivory. I also used a powder foundation by Collection 2000.
A close up of my cute cat earrings I got from my friend for Christmas.

View of part of the top of my outfit.
My necklaces and the badges of my jacket.

80s inspired goth everyday make-up tutorial

Here is a make-up tutorial I made back in september, I made it mainly because my mum wanted me to plan my make-up ahead and properly time it for m fist day at college, so this is pretty much what I wore. I made it one the 3rd of september, but never got around to editing it to make it shorter, as the original was 18 minutes. Although I actually take a lot longer than that to put my make-up as I didn't include my foundation routine.
I have another video, of a David Bowie Alladin Sane make-up tutorial which I also haven't got around to making yet from about a year ago!
I also plan to make a few more videos of my every day make-up looks and also how I do my hair. I may make a video next time I dye it too.
